Health and Healing

Sat with some doctors at a wedding party one day and me, the engineering graduate slash renaissance woman clad in a maid-of-honor gown attempted to convince these opthalmologists and surgeons on the logical, scientific, miraculous powers of the Coconut Virgin Oil. Bravely, I attempted to layout my thesis that since the virgin oil made sure that bowel movement was religiously done, spiritual transformation started when food entering the body flows in a more efficient manner thereby making food intake effective to reach those hungry cells that are usually missed out when the villi is full of waste that needs fibrous materials to be cleansed.

Unfortunately, before the 2 minute presentation without the powerpoint was finished the distinguished panel of medical practicing doctors while sumptously having dessert and coffee, all shook their heads and said, "the virgin oil miracle stories need to be backed up by data before you can ask us to recommend that to our patients." "And the villi logic doesn't work that way."

Right there, in between my own dessert and coffee, my biology basics collapsed. It was when I swore that I would start or begin clinical trials of the coconut virgin oil just to prove to the scientific community that going organic is still the better way, the healthy way. Clinical trials just makes things look neat and spanky. But all of alchemy started with the faith and belief in the universe, that it could create magic and miracles that nourish the body and the soul.

After the wedding, I log in my name as clinical trial number one. Should you want to be a clinical trial just let me know.

Thank you for flying with me even just for a little while.
