When hell breaks loose, most people would try to contain it. A few people I know would let it go. In the traditions of zen, letting go is key to peace. And so how does one let go of stress? I guess the first thing to do when letting go of stress is to believe that it is truly temporary. Stress will come and stress will go. Other people who decide to marry stress are in for all sorts of diseases and ills. We've heard that stress would cause constipation, pimples, sleepless nights and relentless buying of all sorts of anti-depressant.
But stress is basically temporary as all climaxes are. There is denownment wether your like it or not. The movie, book, or television series would one day come to an end. And so, when stress comes in, the best position to let it go is to sit still, close eyes and breath in and out. Maybe for at least ten minutes. Then after counting ten backwards, there will be new room for new stress to build up and break lose.
